Are there any schools someone with a 2.3~2.6 GPA could get into?

Not me, I'm asking for my friend who's too lazy to make an account.
Title states it all, are there any schools (located in CA only) he can apply to?

cal states lol

Which Cal States specifically? I wanted him to apply to CSUN…

yeah in norcal there are lots. Prolly sfsu, eastbay, sac state.

^Unless you’re local to SFSU you’re probably not going to get into it. You can probably get into CSUSM, CSUCI, CSULA, and CSUN without much trouble. For other CSU’s it’ll depend on your major.

Pretty much no chance at UC’s since most have a minimum GPA of around 2.7~2.9.

You can also try privates if he has the money.

CSUSM is out… I tried and couldn’t get in lol. Try CSUCI, CSULA and CSUN.

wow so CSU San Bernardino may accept me with a 2.9 GPA and 26 ACT?

No CSUSM stands for Cal State San Marcos…

To be honest, you never know unless you apply… The hardest ones to get into are CSUSM (if you didn’t go to a college in the area), SDSU (too impacted) and CSULB (same as SDSU; too impacted). I didn’t apply to schools in the NorCal area, so I couldn’t tell you how much they’re impacted/how hard it is to get into.

^Don’t forget to add CPSLO and CPP (we’re all stuck in no status change limbo ahhhhhhhh) to that list.

Is it always like this for transfer students? The long wait???

forgot to mention lol…CSU Monterrey bay. and probably CSU Fresno. i think theres a CSU Bakersfield too?

and humboldt and chico state.

For some reason CSU Fresno is giving me a hard time.
