Are there colleges that recalculate your GPA without your freshman year?

Hi everybody! So after visiting Emory, I learned that the admissions officers recalculate your GPA to only include sophomore and junior year (told by an admissions officer herself). Are there other colleges that do this as well and disregard freshman year grades? I’ve heard that Princeton, Stanford, and Johns Hopkins do this, but I’m not entirely sure. Thanks!!

The UC schools have a UC specific method of calculating GPA that does not include 9th grade.
