Not sure which dorm, yet. My daughter's taking her laptop, and is wondering if she needs to bring her own printer. Can't find this info in the handbook.

If I remember correctly, there are printers in the computer labs in the resident halls, but I'm not sure if every resident hall has a computer lab (-_-"). I'm bringing my own printer for convenience.

students usually bring their own printers, unless you have a friend who will be willing to share his/her printer with you. if you choose not to bring a printer, there are plenty of printing stations at the library. all you need is a "copy card" ($1) and copies are 10 or 15 cents a page, I believe.

there are plenty of places to print on campus and the dorms have printer but they arent free.. and well it is just so much more convenient to have your own and make sure that it is working and hooked up to the computer and prints... bc i know plenty of students that have printers and end up never using them bc they werent able to hook it up correctly :/

Trust me on this one it really sucks to have one and not have it hooked up...

Definitely bring a printer. I've never heard of a computer lab in the dorms, so that's awesome for whatever dorm had one, but is definitely not typical. You can print at the library, but it's a hassle and with all the papers you're going to be printing, in the long run, it's better to just go to Costco and get a printer that functions well enough.

I took my own printer, but I think some of the dorms have remote access printers down at the front desk that you can use. Chances are she'll be able to use a friend's, though.
