Are these considered EC's?

so are these considered EC (i volunteer and work so yeah)
i participate in clubs, but none of them really do anything for the community.

in 10th grade i taught myself hindi (for a project),
i am learning sanskrit now
reading books (im starting the epic collection of vedic knowledge) and other small books, (and tell yes/no for EC: Harry potter, lol--my guess is no,, but can you give examples of books that would count)

i write a lot of stories and poems but they are my own collection, i dont enter them into competitions,
except for one is 3rd grade, where i won 1st or 2nd prize....

im not on the school team (i dont like school sports) but i play for fun basketball, cricket in india

based on this too, can i get into UCSD (i have high GPA 4.44 (10-12) and 1820 SAT, 620 spansih) im retaking SAT and taking Math 2 and Bio)
i have gotten permission asking to subit transcription for ELC, but havent got letter yet, so..tell me if UCSD is possible..

im working on writing a killer application essay (taking a course that helps- college apps seminar)

I think learning sanskrit and writing a collection of stories and poems would count towards EC’s

one more thing… im learning to play the following instruments
bass guitar
mrdanga (sort of like a tabla)
and harmonium

all of these instruments is self taught (i am teaching it to myself right now)
so do those count as EC’s?

i also have a job to help support my college. i dont want to talk money from my parents… so should i include that in the application? where and how

@ alexisxcudi and everyone else
what about hindi?

btw these writings are just for fun. when i get bored i just pour out my emotions into fantasy lands, into works of poetry. sometimes i write poems about Shri Krishna --God
