Are these enough for MIT, Georgia Tech, Ivies and other top-schools? Any advices? Thanks!

sounds great! you are good to go

I am not sure participation alone is going to be enough. Have you won or secured high ranks in any major competitions?

Very impressive!

In addition to being a lot of cool stuff with a lot of leadership, your ECs appear to be quite focused on a few key areas of interest, which is really good. Best of luck with your applications!

I don’t know, hey everyone! Is participation count as EC or am I have to won or ranked high, by the way, I will be class president for 2 years and School union delegate for 2 years. Thanks!!!

Ivies are never a sure thing, however, especially since you are an international student. Apply, but be sure to have a backup plan.

@KKmama‌ So you’re saying that those EC’s are enough for MIT?

They are enough, but that doesn’t mean that you will get accepted.

If you feel that you have done as much as you can (i.e you’ve stretched yourself to your limits), then, yes, they are enough.

I can do more guys, if it is necessary. And I know that only EC’s won’ get me accepted to school.

The number of ECs isn’t as important as excelling in them. For instance, my friend was an avid debater. He took part in about 20-25 debate tournaments, including the WSDCs (made it to top 40, which is a big deal). He was admitted to Princeton SCEA and Harvard RD (only Yale said waitlist).
