Are these GOOD EC's?

I don't have many extra curricular activities that involve my school but I have a few which I think would help. I want to major in business with a specialty in entrepreneurship at a very good school.

I have started multiple businesses since I was about 14. When I was 14 I started a business selling WOW characters(game) and later created my own website and marketed the website on Google. I did not make much money from it but maybe the experience counts for something?

I later quit WOW since it was taking way to much time away from studies and started another service. This one I would remove bad reviews, personal information and other undesirable stuff from Google. I had clients ranging from lawyers to Beverly Hills plastic surgeons.

Now I am in the process of getting a job with a pretty big SEO (search engine optimization helps rank in Google) and Reputation management(bad reviews, social media etc) and they said they are willing to pay me $2.5k per month with up to $5k if I can get the leads they want. I am also starting my own local business for seo and reputation management getting leads from Craigslist and cold calling.

In addition I plan on volunteering for 200hrs and doing an internship this summer. I will be visiting Togo west Africa for 6 weeks and would love some suggestions on what I could do while I'm there to help people out.

Please keep note that these business were never registered and I have stopped working on most of them. Would love help on how I can word these EC's and how good these are compared to what most people have(Varsity sports, President&founder of multiple clubs...etc)

…

this isn’t a serious question right? please tell me that this isn’t a serious question

Yes it is. Is this bad or good?

^let me answer that question with a question.
how many college applicants do you know who are getting paid over 1k a month for one of their ECs?

There are tons of them who get paid for jobs. Isn’t this just work experience? I am not ranked in anything nationally…nothing that has to do with academics. I feel like I can put one thing on my application while others can but multiple really good ones.

part time jobs that pay $7/hour…

I think I’ve made my position very clear lol

So how would this compare to someone who is a president of multiple clubs or a varsity athlete. People with leadership ECs

IMO it makes you stand out. it’s an ideal EC. something you love, something you spend a lot of time on, something that shows that you have a lot of skill in what you love, and something that is completely unique and rarely heard of. and to top it all off, you’re planning to major in the same subject area is college. if you actually get the job that is.

in terms of your other businesses, they should definitely be mentioned on your app. it solidifies your passion for business

bump10char

^try posting that as a new thread in the “what are my chances?” forum

bump10char. Would love to hear more opinions

If you’re going to college for business and economics sure. Do some clubs maybe?

I wouldn’t mention the WoW thing, thats just little more then you playing video games.

Alright thanks! It was an actual business though(?). I would organize everything and deal with customers/payments etc. What type of clubs should I join? I only have until December or so to make my application than a 3.5 GPA and a 32 on the ACT

bump for more opinions
