Are these grades competitive for UCB, UCLA?

I was a straight-A student during my freshman and sophomore years, but I had a recent slip-up junior year, and as a result, ended up with 3 Bs and 1 C (intermixed with 10 As that year).

Berkeley, in particular, has always been my dream school, so it’d be great if my a few bad grades didn’t ruin me completely.

My UC GPA is a 4.11, and my SAT (single sitting) is a 2070. Do I stand a chance?

(I’m really only worried about numbers, I believe I’m competitive in the ECs/Awards department)

Looking at your transcript-I think you have a chance as one of the Bs was in an AP class. You are not taking the most rigorous classes-honors vs AP-but Cal & UCLA triy to be holistic-and if it is your dream-then spend the $$ and apply.G'Luck

Well, my school only offers a few APs until senior year, and I took all of them (this year I am taking 4 APs, 2 honors). Also, at my school, Honors courses are just as hard as AP courses... I also took every single Honors course that I could, so in terms of course rigor, I took the most challenging I could.

Anyway, thanks! :)

I'd say you're definitely competitive though not guaranteed.
