Are these realistic possible schools given my credentials???

~ varsity lacrosse freshman year (quit because I needed more time for ballet)
~ 6 hours of dance a week 42 weeks of the year
~ public relations committee for dance marathon (against pediatric cancer)
~ volunteer at local animal shelter during the summer
~ National Honors Society </p>

<p>Schools I am currently planning on applying to are:
~ Penn State (resident of Pennsylvania and dad went there)
~ UT Austin
~ UCLA
~ Berkeley
~ USC
~ NYU
~ Rutgers
~ Vanderbilt
~ UNC
~ UVA
~ BC
~ University of Miami
~ University of Florida
~ Brown (a girl can dream don't laugh)
~ Columbia (again a girl can dream why not???)</p>

<p>If anyone finds this unrealistic, please give some suggestions of some good safety schools given my credentials. I'm really having trouble thinking of solid safely schools at the moment!!</p>

<p>You have a lot of reaches in your list and not many matches. UT Austin, UCLA, Cal, USC, NYU, Vanderbilt, UNCe, UVA, BC, and the two ivies are either low reaches or reaches. Add more matches and maybe 1 more safety and cut down on the reaches.</p>

PSU
Rutgers
Florida
U Miami</p>

<p>If I were you, I’d find a safety – a school you like and could afford that you are certain you’d get into.</p>

<p>And unless your four matches are strong in areas in which you might like to major, I’d find a couple more matches that are.</p>
