Are these SAT II scores good enough for Cal or UCSD?

Chemistry 660
Mathematics Level 2 680
U.S. History 690

I might retake math IIc this saturday but not sure

doubt it for Cal

trigger2happy:

Assuming you are a California resident,
UCB: Slight Reach
UCSD: Match

They're all really bad.

Maybe below UCSD average by a little.

i'm assuming you're from ca

cal, you're gonna have to get those probably to at least low/mid 700's
ucsd, assuming your gpa, sat scores, and ecs are good i would think those would be ok, maybe you want to raise a bit though

Not good for Cal.

a little low for both ucsd and cal.

ouch... too low

wow

Are SAT II scores weighted that much toward college admissions?

Check out this site which discusses how the SAT IIs are weighted in determining an overall test score towards the admission decision at the UCs:

<a href="http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/paths_to_adm/freshman/scholarship_reqs.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/paths_to_adm/freshman/scholarship_reqs.html</a></p>

You have to look at the bottom where it discusses "Test Score Totals".

If you dont get 800s u can pretty much forget about Cal (assuming you are OOS)
