Last year at this time, I received a 770 on Physics, and this year, yet again, I received a 770 on World History. Are these scores good enough for Ivies? I've heard many different opinions about 700+, 750+ or 780+. I will probably take Math II sometime, and Math is my strong suit so I hope to get an 800 on that.

I was just wondering if these scores currently are good enough to report or will I have to take more than 1 more subject test. Thanks for the advice in advance.

This applies to me as well, so I’d like to know too! Here’s to a free bump :]

@OP: 770 is a strong score. Honestly, I doubt that a 770 vs. an 800 will keep you out of Ivy League schools. Take more if you wish, but it won’t make a difference.

bump… anyone else with any advice???

I concur with hardworking21. While it is not the best score, a 770 is still a very good score, and lands right in the range of average SAT subject test scores for Ivy League universities. I recommend that you leave your scores as they are and invest your time in getting an 800 on the Math II and doing extracurricular activities. Good luck!

I think you’re fine. Regardless if there’s a theoretical cutoff for ivy leagues, the most-given advice i’ve seen in this forum is that “they can’t tell the difference” when you’re up against an applicant who has you beat by 20-30 points. Focus on other areas of your app - ECs, GPA, your interests, etc.
