Are these too many EC's?

Are they? I'm a freshman.
EC's
-Student Counsel
-Diversity Club
-Chemistry Club
-Physics Club
-Model Congress
-Band
-Ping Pong Club(Maybe)
Sports
-Tennis
-Swimming(Maybe)

i wouldn’t say it’s necessarily ‘too many’ if you enjoy them all. but purely from an admissions standpoint, you’ll eventually probably want to pick a few clubs/activities to focus on so that you can get leadership positions and such. it’s your freshman year though, so don’t worry about it yet- try everything out and then just stick with what you end up liking the most.

bump…

Nope… depends on the person

Depends. What do you do in them? Are you spending every hour you have wisely? Sitting in a room and talking about how wonderfully diversity-minded you is only interesting up to a point. If the clubs do something useful, and you find that something fun, by all means push as many of them into your schedule as you can fit.
