I applied to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (FL). They require two recommendations. However, my school only sent one. I emailed them this weekend asking for my application status. They replied saying that I have been accepted and that my the decision is in th email. How accurate is this? Is this possible?

I bet "they" are trying to mess with you (it's an elaborate plan) ;0. Maybe you should wait for the email, if nothing then email back? Just a humble suggestion from a humble man.

It's almost definitely true...they probably just weren't very concerned with the recommendations, and they were probably absolutely sure you'd be admitted

They emailed me back saying I was admitted. How often does this happen?

Below is the email.

You have been accepted, your letter is in the mail.

Subject: Application Status.

Can you tell me my application status? My name is Gavin Ng and my social security number is ---------.

Sometimes the admissions office considers an application complete with only one recommendation. You'll have to read the fine print on that one. I know this is true for Columbia only because I read the FAQ on its website. I'm sure your college did the same.

Dude you got accepted stop worrying
