I thought transfer admissions were rolling....are they? If so, I sent my final spring transcripts last week. Will they be reviewed right away? Will I be notified right away or are they going to hold off until most transcripts are in.
Getting worried about housing.

Transfer admission is not rolling. Once your application is complete, the process of reviewing the application begins. The necessary components are
1) SAT/ACT Scores
2) Final HS Transcript
3) College Transcript(s) including Spring grades
4) Letter of good-standing from the Dean/Advisor

There is no guarantee for housing for Transfer applicants, especially for the Lincoln Center campus. You can apply for housing on the wait-list on the first day of classes.

I was wondering what you thought my chances were as a transfer. My highschool records and ec's were good. 4.8 weighted gpa in h.s. all honor and AP courses in h.s. many e.c's including tri-varsity letter for sports since freshman year. Test scores were also decent.
Had all A's and A- first year of college. Finished with 3.85 gpa.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks

Well, obviously they should accept you or something is wrong with Fordham. Have you applied to NYU? You would more than likely get in.

no...haven't applied to NYU. I've stayed there several times with friends. Very cool school but I sort of like the campus feel combined with the access to city. That's why Fordham.

So what do you do in the meantime? How can you attend classes and not have a place to live? Not sure how it works. I need housing and I am hoping for Rose Hill

Checked into some housing options...go on Craigs List. There are quite a few posts to share apartments close to Rose Hill Campus.
