Are UCSB students friendly?

<p>I posted this thread on the college life section but got little response. So, I posted here again hoping more people could write down their feeling about this matter.</p>

<p>I'm pretty interested in this school that is well-known for its crazy parties. Since I like parties but I'm NOT EXACTLY a party animal, and I'm not Causian which allegedly is the absolute majority of the student body. I'm pretty concerned about the overall character of students in this school. Are they mean to people who are not as crazy about parties as they are?</p>

<p>Yes, we are! I’ve never met anyone in my two years here that’s been unfriendly. Also, use protection so those STIs aren’t a problem. We’re really not as “thirsty” as everyone thinks we are.</p>
