Are UCSD recreation classes good? [specifically breakdancing]

hey guys,

Do people at ucsd usually enroll in rec classes? or are there clubs/organisations where people engage in the same activities?

One of the rec classes i was interested was in:

Break Dancing/Bboying: Beginning
Taught by: Ron Chu or Billy Chun.

and ther is an intermediate course as well

I have no idea how fun/useful these classes would be.

Input?

I’ve heard nothing but good things about beginning ukelele, but other than that, most of the recreational classes at 'SD don’t have a notable reputation as being good.

i’ve taken ballet a number of times and surfing and scuba once each. you get what you pay for – so SCUBA, being the most expensive of the bunch, was definitely the best.

they dont have a notable reputation as being bad either…they just dont really have a reputation

ive had friends take the boot camp workout, yoga, and another one of my friends actually teaches one of the aerobic classes…i havent really heard anything about the others though

where did u find the break dancing class? i went to the schedule of class and couldnt find it…

[UC San Diego Recreation - Rec Classes](http://recreation.ucsd.edu/clss/index.html?op=brs&cs=act)

under “dance and the arts - world beat”

yeah…S-Dub ur interested as well ? :D
