Are we allowed to make up book examples for the SAT?

<p>I know some stories that have moral endings and things to teach but they aren't considered literature really... Would it be ok if i made up an author and said it was a book?</p>

<p>or if i know a story or book but forgot the author can i just make up the author?</p>

<p>The readers of the SAT essay don’t care whether or not the stuff you write is real or not. They just care about how good your essay is.</p>
