Michigan fans will root for Michigan. If you’re not a Michigan fan, ■■■■ of the student section.

As for going to the tourney, a W vs Illinois will lock it up. A loss will put us back on the bubble but I think we’ll still be in.

“Believe it or not, they grow into becoming Michigan fans, but they will never root against MSU. I suspect the same will happen with Emzee. He will eventually root for both Michigan and MSU”

I dont care what team he roots for, including MSU. However, if he is going to wear a Spartan jersey and sit in the student section he shouldn’t even bother to show up. Let him sit elsewhere in the stadium.

Go blue!!!1

Oh yeah, no denying a spot now. Lock it up, we’re in.

^true story. even though they lost to the buckeyes today, yesterday’s clutch win all but sealed the deal (i think)

in for sure. i think we’re a 10, 9 to be optimistic. hopefully we can get lucky and get a 2 seed that we matchup well with (im assuming that we could handle any 7 seed on a good day)

Sparty blew it big time too, which I love. They got the biggest gift of a game and then came out and blew them away only to give it back. Hopefully this gets PSU in and reps the Big Ten a little better at the tourney.

Michigan is definitely in. It seems like they will be either a 10 or 11 seed. pretty good considering they started 1-6 in the big ten. I can see them making some noise when its time to dance. go blue!

Calling it now. Umich at best gets to the second round. Sparty, atleast to the sweet 16.

If I’m wrong, I’ll have a lot of words to eat.

^ Yeah, after that STELLAR performance against penn state, right?

msu sucks this year

Sparty has a better chance of getting to the sweet 16 than Michigan but Michigan has a better chance of getting to the second round than Sparty. Michigan is pretty consistent. We haven’t beaten teams that we are supposed to lose to and we have been pretty solid against teams equal or better. Sparty is all over the place - they took Purdue to the cleaners and got blown out by Iowa. We never know which one is going to show up.

Since 2001, MSU has done horrendous in the Big Ten tourny, including losses to flat out sucky teams. And yet they’ve gone to the final four 3 times since.

^

How many times did Michigan SWEEP them during those years?

None. But none of the past MSU teams have faced the problems this team has faced, so you can’t really compare.

That’s kind of my point lol

8 SEED AGAINST TENNESSEE! tough matchup. and if they win they have to play duke… ouch. GO BLUE!

Tennessee is very winnable. I would rather be up here were we can at least get through the first round then have a tough time even winning one game. MSU will lose so we’ll get further than them.

Tennessee is a decent team, but if Michigan plays well, we should win it. Duke is almost impossible to beat. I think MSU could actually make it futher than Michigan in the tournament. UCLA is winnable and Florida can be beaten.

Don’t be so quick to count us out, Alexandre. We’ve already taken two of the four #1 seeds to the wire this year. Who says we can’t do it again?

krw, anything can happen. However, there is a difference between taking a team to the wire and actually beating them. I believe Michigan will keep the game close, but Duke is too good and too experienced in NCAA tournament play to lose this game. Of course, every team has bad days and good days. Should Michigan have a good day while Duke have a bad day, Michigan can definitely win. Here’s hoping!
