Are we supposed to decline...

the schools we aren't attending?
Or is it apparent to the other UC's when we SIR to another.

-Thanks :D

yup, you should decline so that people on the waitlist get it. (if only you’re courteous enough!lol)

I think you SHOULD decline, but I’m not sure if it affects the waitlist. When I declined UCI, they said I could change my mind until June 1. That makes me think they’re holding space for admitted students til June 1 regardless.

I was told at my cc that UCs know when you SIR somewherr else. But i think they still hold your spot till june 1 like @2016candles stated above.

When i SIR’ed to UC Davis i re checked my admission status for UCSC,UC Irvine and UC Riverside and they said that my application was withdrawn. I emailed them and they told me that if i SIR’ed to other schools that my acceptance automatically gets declined and this happened to me.

SIR’d to UCLA, my acceptance for UCI and UCSD are still fine. When was this, liljr?

Not sure they get declined as you can re-SIR somewhere else if you change your mind. You just lose the $100 deposit.

I SIR’ed to UCLA, and after 2 weeks, I went to the admission portals of all the UC’s I applied to and manually rejected my admission
