Are we supposed to send AP scores?

<p>I know we send our SAT scores when we apply, but are we also supposed to send our AP scores? Or do we wait until we are accepted to the school before we send the AP scores? </p>

<p>You can wait until you are accepted. Self report is the norm for AP scores.</p>

<p>Does it help to send while you are applying if you did well on the tests? I don’t see a place on the application to report AP scores, just SAT scores. I know collegeboard will send the scores (for a fee), but not sure if it helps the application in any way. If it doesn’t help, then I guess it is better just to wait. </p>

<p>It does not help. There is a section on the Common App to self report; that’s all that is needed.</p>

<p>I sent in the tests I got 3’s on… Does this hinder my chances in any way? </p>
