Are Wesleyan Decision posted anywhere online?

I was under the impression that Wescheck would have them but apparently not, do they send to you only through the mail??

correct- admissions will ONLY send decisions through the mail. after Dec. 17th, I think, you can also get them by calling the admissions office. however, there will be no way to check them online.

Ack. It's gonna be a really long wait for the mailman on December 15th.... !!

So why do they do it that way?

Twomore, I hear some people get them the 13th or 14th..!

I guess admissions is just old-school... although, I must admit, seeing a large white package sure beats an email any day. There's something special about getting a physical acknowledgment...

Yeah, but I'd take speed over physical acknowledgement.

actually, i spoke to my college counselor today, and she told me that wesleyan told my school that they are going to send out early decisions on friday, and try to electronically (i assume that means email?) notify everyone on monday.... im so nervous!

they mailed out the decisions today.

How do you know?

If that's true, we could get it as early as Friday. ETiteijaetjrairgjnkgrjiofgsi90fbm9teq90mteq

stops convulsing on the floor

What is your source for that info? I'm hesitant to believe it, even though I really, really want to.

I don't think the nervousness really kicked in until I read those six words.

thats what the admissions office said

They told you when the decisions were going out? I thought that they usually shy away from letting that sort of information slip out...well, I hope you're right. I live in Jersey, so I'd be getting the letter either Friday or Saturday. Which is preferable to Monday, since I would have the weekend as a buffer for celebrating or moping around the house. Hopefully the former, of course!

Yeah, I'm in New York. It might be nice to get my rejection on Friday -- I'm already signed up for the ACT on Saturday, and I can start my other applications!

Slightly off-topic: This time-stamp phenomenon is starting to get on my nerves, which are already stretched to breaking point by the waiting game.

Yeah, it's bizarre. Watch as my post goes above yours.

Wait your turn greedy ones, for time will come and woe us all, for better or for worse, it is the mere element of essence. patience is a virtue. live by it.

let it be.

Um, what? Why is anxiety and eagerness to know something about your future "greed"? Don't you think it would be weirder if we were all patient and calm?
