Im a rising freshman and really want to get ahead in math. Is it possible?

If you are hoping to get into AP CALC AB or BC in high school, and are not on track to do so, consider taking a summer or online course, testing out, or doubling up on math (whatever is most readily doable) so as to get through all the prereq classes.

@Jchemistry - Where are you in math? What are you trying to ask?

Thanks Sw0206 for the advice. And @observeraffect, I am going to do geometry as a freshman and also going to self study algebra 2.

I have also applied for IB, but I’ve recently heard that colleges consider AP + IB being equally rigorous. And I’m reconsidering my options. @observeraffect

Why not ask your math teacher if you can. Asking a teacher is easier then asking other people. Mostly because you can explain what you mean to them then typing it up and cause misunderstanding.
