In some days, there is barely enough time between classes to grab a meal, get to class, then get the seat of your choice. So I was wondering if most professors are opposed to students' eating in class.

Some classrooms/lecture halls have signs that say no food/drinks, but that doesn’t really stop anyone. I’ve seen people eat full meals sitting in their seat before class starts or people snack during the whole lecture (I definitely do this!). I’m sure some professors will say no food/drinks, but I haven’t had any that really cared.

It depends on the professor. When my psych professor would enter the lecture hall and she saw people eating meals (it was an evening class, so a lot of people thought they could eat dinner), she would walk up to them and say how it’s disrespectful to the others around you. Other professors don’t care. Just as a precaution I wouldn’t bring anything that will smell up the lecture hall or has a really loud wrapper, etc.
