is it that hard to guage sarcasm on an internet forum... like im a junior member for christs sake

You can do ED and EA (like Penn State, Rutgers, etc).

yea im pretty sure you can apply binding ed to as many schools as you want.

You CANNOT apply to more than ONE ED or SCEA school.

This is not a difficult concept to grasp.

wait, are you sure I can't apply binding ED to as many schools as i want?

yes everyone is sure. Do some research or go to ANY information session for ANY college and they will tell you the same thing.

From what I've heard, when it comes to
SCEAs - no other EA or ED
Princeton ED - no other EA or ED
UPenn ED - no other ED
EA - no ED

So Princeton is a SCEA thats binding
and Upenn is a EA thats binding

Wrong- Penn is an ED and all EDs are binding. You can apply to rolling admission schools and EA schools along with your ED application to Penn. For example, you can apply EA to Chicago, EA to Georgia, rolling to Indiana and ED to Penn and you aren't breaking any rules. If you are accepted to Penn ED, you have to notify the other schools that you will not be attending.
You can only apply to one school ED.
If you can't figure this out, you probably don't need to be looking at Penn.

^ thank you, bout time someone had it right

It's common sense, and still some people don't understand it.

wait, are you guys serious b/c ive already filled out like 8 apps with "ED" checked...

plz clarify!

chillax i dont think u deserve to go to college

lol. this isn't a hard concept.

chillax, I hope you get banned for flame.

chillax: did you send those apps in yet?

no i havent even started on the supplements yet nor am i truly confused by the concept of ed. i think a lot of people on this forum take themselves too seriously. (ie, "you dont even deserve to go to college or apply to upenn because you obviously aren't very smart") and its kind of unfortunate, people shouldnt be douchebags just because they are solid candidates or are already in a top-tier school. i really don't give a **** if im banned for flaming, ill just create another account and do the same ****.

kthnxbye

Ur from LBI. Did you goto Belmar and see Mike and the Mad Dog today?

I am applying Early Decision to UPenn and Early Action to Boston College and Notre Dame. The BC and ND EA programs are unrestricted EA. Whereas Harvard, Yale, Stanford, MIT, and CalTech are SCEA. Georgetown is unrestrictive EA but they do not allow EA applicants to apply ED anywhere because then they would "not have GT as an option" if they were accepted.

yea u can do that

chilliax ur the biggest f ucking moron on CC
