Are you allowed to use Calculus on AP Physics B?

<p>Like if you apply parametrics to kinematics questions or some integrals, do they take marks off because you aren't using the kinematics equations?</p>

<p>I don’t know about the parametric, but I know you can use integration (i.e. area under/in the curve) to find an answer. For example, you can find the area enclosed in a P-V diagram (usually a triangle) and use that to find the work done by/on the gas.</p>

<p>Might as well have taken Physics C. :p</p>
