Are you always considered a transfer student or only the first semester?

<p>Okay, this may be a silly question, but I transfered to a four year university from a CC and I'm applying for a scholarship. The application asks to check the applicable box and offers the options: Transfer Student and Current Student</p>

<p>I transferred on Spring 2011, so I already succesfully completed a semester, which would technically make me a current student. But most of my credits are transfer. So which box should I check? Or should I check both?</p>

<p>As far as scholarships are concerned you are a current student. A transfer scholarship would only be for an incoming transfer student. As you are already there you are a current student.</p>
