<p>No. I am a white american. I am NOT caucasian. I have no relation to the people of the caucasus mountains. I am not turkish, nor do i have any turkish relatives.</p>

<p>I think we should at bare minimum adopt a wide-ranging reform in personal classification. Indians and others really don't have a good place in the standard White/Black/Hispanic/Asian classification system.</p>

but yeah, at our school Asian only refers to chinese/taiwanese people and such</p>

<p>well on the outside no... but esentially yes... apparently, (mindful that this was at camp, on a sugar high at about 2 am) I am an honorary asian, and more asian then one of my chinese friends...
but on the outside as white and chalk with blue eyes... in other words eastern european</p>

<p>Has anyone noticed how half caucasian/half Chinese kids NEVER look Asian? I've met about a half dozen and they all looked not a speck Chinese. Except for the really young ones (8 or below).</p>

<p>My mom (jokingly) says it's because Chinese genes must be weak. :P</p>
