As am I! This guy in my french class always mixes me up with this other black girl because as he says "you guys are the only smart black people like ever." But in regards to the question, I am attracted to asian and white guys. Like you guys, I haven't met any smart black guys so far, and that's like a requirement for me.

i really like guys who can speak french extremely well (preferably fluently) or french guys/men. these folks KNOW style i tell you.

all the .. eastern asian boys i've met are disgusting in that they are immature, can't properly string sentences together and .. yea the ones i've met are gross, lol. and so stingy, i can't stand a miserly man.

generally, i like guys who are completely different from me in appearance but somewhat similar in personality (mature, intellectual, sympathetic).

so no, i'm not attracted to my own race. :)

I think as far as Asians go, Filipinos are pretty damn attractive; however, I love my white boys haha. There's just something about their blonde locks and light eyes! ;]

also, i find that a much more important thing than race for me is that like, adorable nerdiness that some (though very few) guys have. that's so rare, but really cute.

I'm not attracted to my own race (Chinese, but it applies to Asians in general). It's not that I go around like, "Ah, that guy is Asian, so I won't like him." It just happens that way because Asians tend to be less self-confident, less funny, etc. I'm sure it doesn't apply to everyone, but it applies in my life.

I mostly like Caucasian guys; there aren't many African/Latino/Native Americans here. I don't particularly like a certain hair color or something like that, but my friends make fun of me because I usually like guys with big noses, lol. :)

I don't really have a preference as far as race when it comes to guys, but age is an issue for me. I never like guys my own age. I definately prefer older guys.

I'm Korean, and a lot of my friends give me crap about only liking White girls. But I like girls in general, not just White girls. I just happen to not think of the Asian girls in my school romantically--most of them aren't my type. They are all very shrill and a lot of them have the whole "too coo' fo skoo'" thing going on. And those who don't are just way too competitive. I prefer girls who don't think of me as an enemy and don't obsess over what I got on my last test. And a lot of the girls I've had a thing with in the past happened to be White.

I agree Filipinos r hawt. Reminds me of my old black/filipino crush...lol. Also a sidenote: guys who dress nerdy but in a fashionable way are soo cute; they don't have to be einstein but kinda smart or at least not totally stupid

Oh boy, yeah being a black male can be bothersome at times (no, not in that very obvious way). Just keep your eyes open for those black guys that read, we're out there!

And I mean, generally I'm attracted to white girls because there're so many of them at my school, and the image is predominant in TV, movies etc. I mean, I definitely see beautiful girls in all races, sometimes it's just harder to see it in black girls?

haha, I used to be notorious for finding mostly white guys attractive. (I'm Asian) I never used to find any minority attractive (especially Asians).
Now, I find guys from all races attractive. Race isn't really a factor. (I still like white guys though ;))
I guess I like/liked white guys the most because of their attitude. Though it's stereotyping, I agree with what most people have said about Asian, Black, etc guys. Too nerdy, too awkward, too dumb, too gangster, etc. People fulfill their own stereotypes.

I guess I attract a myriad of races, but the weird thing is, older (18-24 year olds) white guys tend to be attracted to me. I guess I am more driven/mature for my age, and Asians' ages are very ambiguous. Combine that with my tendency to speak properly (no OMGZZZ REALLY?? SO COOOOOL!), and I guess that's why they assume I'm their age. (I'm 17 btw lol)

Yay for black CCers! My school's diverse by LA standards, in that it's like 44% Hispanic, 23% Filipino, 21% Black, like 13% Pacific Islander, and there's literally only a handful or two of whites sprinkled about. So then, you have loads of stereotypical people, and though lots of people like to spout the whole "Oh, I'm okay with everyone." Everyone's in their groups. I think my preference is Asian women, with Caucasian girls following a CLOSE second.

Anyone ever think about the fact that our preferences are psychological? Like, I remember in my early childhood years, from preschool to Kindergarten, I've always had these really amazing female Asian teachers (Japanese, Korean, etc. Filipino doesn't count in that category), and quite a few nice Caucasian ones. Throughout my life, the teachers that scared me the most happened to be black. Add that into going to angry Baptist churches and I think I've been programmed to not like my own race perhaps?

I'm partial to Latino boys :) But like llpitch, I think that people from ANYWHERE can be beautiful. My current boyfriend is Caucasian though.

I'm Malaysian (Southeast Asian) and an ethnic Malay. Most Malay guys my age are gross/creepy/trying too hard, but once in a while you do find some attractive boys who are also nice!
