Are you enjoying your summer?

Junior year summer for me feels just as stressful as the school year, to be honest.

My summer hasn’t even started yet. . . (I’ll be a senior next year)

Ditto. Between college visits and TONS OF FREAKING SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS FOR IB, summer is sucking quite a bit.

Eh, its alright. I’m going on vacation in two weeks, so I’m trying to make a dent in my summer work before I leave.

Summer is the worst time to give homework. I’m not enjoying it at all.

Yeah ive been relaxing at home or hanging with my friends. I wish I had something to do though.

Summer has yet to begin for me.

But I assure you that it will be far from any sort of party. I mean, between work and the endless summer work and essays and visits, I probably won’t have any time for simple relaxation. Except for Key Club International Convention. I am really looking forward to that.

I have to wake up at 8 to take accelerated math for 4 hours everyday. And I also accidentally took first semester spanish 2 (long story) so I wanted to finish spanish 2 online. On top of a bunch of summer assignments. I’m hoping to be done with everything by the end of july and still get like a month of relaxation.

No, I’m not.

My mom woke me up early to go to Disney last weekend. I couldn’t sleep in. I had to bowl with my friends Monday night and I couldn’t even sleep in my own bed because I spent a couple days at her house. I have to go to the beach multiple times in the week and now I have to get more bathing suits because they’re always used. Spent a week in the Keys and the jet ski that I used was hot and I got sprayed in the face. All of this and I have to buy things for college. Goodness, can a girl get a break?

I suppose. I sort of go numb on long breaks. I sit around on the Internet or in front of the TV watching other people’s lives and forgetting I’m supposed to have one of my own. I go through a cycle of procrastinating, feeling guilty but not actually doing anything about it, and then procrastinating some more.

Yep, I guess. Spent the first week and a half doing nothing, which was great, and now am at journalism camp until Thursday.

Not really…most of my summer plans have either failed or are on the verge of failing

Eh, I guess. I haven’t really done anything productive the last two weeks, but I’ve finally had time to relax after a long, stressful sophomore year, so that’s a positive. Unfortunately, I have to get going on my IB summer work soon. I don’t have any plans until the last week of July, so I’m stuck at home until then.

Considering my day looks like this
5 hrs of class
3 hrs of SAT prep
3 hrs of hw

It’s not going too well

i have a summer internship from 8 - 6, studying for PSATs/SAT IIs in Chemistry, Math I/II, Chinese, APs shet, tons and tons of summer reading and schoolwork, ESL tutoring ~___~, and random classes all Sunday. The only free time I have is after dinner!! And I usually study from 8 -2:00 at night.

It’s worse than it was during school. I’m going to Cape Cod/ Washington DC for about a week though, so that’s great.

It’s really nice, leaving out all the wonderful details because…
The one thing that irks me right now is those bricking AP scores and wondering if the college will properly receive my transcript on time. Within a week this will change ;)

I thought Niquii was serious for a second lol

Well I spent two weeks on a tour of Turkey in the beginning of June. It was a trip of a lifetime, seeing so many Greek and Roman ruins along with lots of historical sights. But I came back last week, and that entire week was pretty much spent recovering and jet lagged. I have two summer assignments left for AP Language and AP US history. I finished one assignment on my flights to Turkey. But I had no energy to start the other ones on my way back. Going to attempt to start the other ones tomorrow… And probably start volunteering soon so I can join NHS. :)

It’s awful.
I wake up at 5 every morning and do AP Physics for 3 hours. Then I do APUSH for 3 hours. Then I do SAT prep and essays for 3 hours. Then I go to work and teach screaming crying children how to swim for 3 hours. Then I sleep at 9 (ideally).
Cycle repeats.

All the events are true.

This was a lie.

This is an honest question.

I have yet to spend a week watching TV continuously. My couch potato needs need to be filled!
