Assuming you got in of course...

Even though it's not my first choice (and more of a "safety"), I think UCI is very nice and I would highly consider it. Since March is not over yet, I can't decide at the moment. :)
But it's at a very convenient location-close to home, so I can save the dorm fees. I also know a lot of people there so that's another good thing so maybe..
Anyway, I'm just happy I got in :D

I got in, but UCSB is offering me much better financial aid (Regents scholarship). I think UCI is better academically for my major (biology), but as long as I'm in the honors program at UCSB, I'll still get a great quality education. Plus, the campus is on the beach. Not too excited about the "party school" aspect, though.

Yes I am going to UCI :)
I was gonna wait for SB & SD decsion but then I realized I like UCI better
(location, distance from home, asians- LOL we dont have asians where I live :(, and I know a few people)
I am happy. and can sigh in relief now that this whole college admissions thing is over :)

no. i just dont like UCI's campus. also, i lived in irvine until 8th grade so i need someplace new to go to. uci doesnt have a good business/econ program which is i want to do.

I got in, but I'm not going.

UCI is my 2nd choice after UCSD.
I'd pick UCI over UCD, UCSB, and UCSC due to location, academics, and other factors as well.

indiowho?---what major? i'm highly considering UCI =)

if i get into ucsb. i'll be contemplating which one to go to. it seems like everyday i flip back and forth between the two. but as of now i'm leaning more towards irvine. but of course iff i dont get into sb, the decision will be quite easy.

psychology (school of social sciences) but after reading through course requirements and descriptions I want to change to Psychology and Social Behavior (school of social ecology) I tried doin it through msg center but it says to do it at SPOP.
U?

psychology too!
whats the difference between that and psych&social behavior?

& where did you find the course requirements?

damnnn I just found out that I got into UCSD and theyre giving me cash... I am in shock I never thought I would get in. Now I have to decide. I like UCI but they have not even told me anything bout aid...
idk im confused now...

for psychology and social behavior
Degree and Minor Requirements | School of Social Ecology

sorry cant find it for psychology haha it was like really hard to find that one the first time.

if u wanna talk to me outside cc pm me.... lol cuz this posting back and forth is kinda annoying.

Psychology at UCI is divided between the School of Social Ecology (Department of Psychology and Social Behavior) and the School of Social Sciences (Department of Cognitive Sciences). Here's a link to a pdf file that sort of overviews things:

UCI is my 3rd/2nd choice

UCLA and Cal are over it

but if I were to chose over Cal and UCI, IDK what I will do.

UCI is bomb

Most likely not because there are 5 schools above it on my list.

Some Person made this group on Facebook- UCI Class of 2013
join it if you know for sure ur going :)
UC Irvine Class of 2013 | Facebook

Haha Yay FB!

I am going to the School of Ecology too for Psych/Social Behavior :) Let's be friends! Haha! I am already thinking about housing.. eee! And I was afraid that my classes would be far far away from my dorm. Hopefully not.

which dorms are you looking at?
mesa court or middle earth?
ME is much closer to campus but MC has a better reputation.

Im looking into MESA

both look so BORING outside, all the buildings look the same

but Mesa has a nicer park

imma be Psych & Social Behavior too!
mesa... =]
