Accepting Admitted decision or Not Accepting Admitted decision.. instead of just admitted.

I wish I could even consider going to GWU tho... such a fantastic school but tooo expensive. Got no scholarship from there. I live 20 min away from GWU (by metro train) and DC is such a lively city!!! (excluding some parts) GWU is a really really great school. Congrats on everyone who'll be attending GWU this fall.

Just curious, where are some of you who are going to GW saying 'no' to? My son will visit next week, was admitted to Honors Program...not yet decided..

D declined:
Northeastern and Suffolk in Boston, SUNY Albany, UMass Amherst,
Tufts, Brandeis and American U.

She was accepted to GW, Science Scholar program, studying forensic chemistry. While I found it difficult to 'let go' of Tufts and Brandeis, both excellent schools, we live in a Boston suburb, Harvard is a 10 minute walk and Tufts is a 10 minute drive. She wanted to experience a different city in a different part of the country. The opportunities at GW are amazing too...so DC: here she comes!
