I live 20 min away from GWU (by metro train) and DC is such a lively city!!! (excluding some parts) GWU is a really really great school. Congrats on everyone who'll be attending GWU this fall.

sigh

-J.

Going!!

1300 SAT, 3.3 gpa, loads of ec's.... i'll be doing NROTC. I'm so excited!

NROTC? Awsome. I'm doing Army ROTC @ Georgetown (while attending GW, of course).

Just curious, where are some of you who are going to GW saying 'no' to? My son will visit next week, was admitted to Honors Program...not yet decided..

My D is saying NO to:
NYU
BU
Tulane
U of Miami
Northeastern
U of Pittsburgh

D declined:
Northeastern and Suffolk in Boston, SUNY Albany, UMass Amherst,
Tufts, Brandeis and American U.

She was accepted to GW, Science Scholar program, studying forensic chemistry. While I found it difficult to 'let go' of Tufts and Brandeis, both excellent schools, we live in a Boston suburb, Harvard is a 10 minute walk and Tufts is a 10 minute drive. She wanted to experience a different city in a different part of the country. The opportunities at GW are amazing too...so DC: here she comes!
