Aren't we all jealous of the perfect kid? The kid who's valectorian, is intelligent, gets high test scores, is very popular, has good looks and seems to excel in anything. I bet we all have one at our school. If you are jealous, how do you deal with it? I hate sucking up to them like everyone else.

It's all right, I forgive you. ;)

Eh, I don't compare myself to them. I just enjoy what I have. :)

I realize how lucky I am. I have it all except the looks (I'm okay-looking) and the popularity. And I realize that it's fine. There's this one "perfect" girl in my grade that I was extremely jealous of last year, but I got over it. I realize how much effort she puts into maintaining her image and I realize that it's not worth it to be like that and that it really isn't that great of a life.

I wouldn't say jealous. I envy her though because she makes amazing grades.

Even though she is like two years ahead of me in science and math, I share a Law class with her. High school seems too easy to her no matter how many AP's she takes. She's like a robot lol.

Yes, watch out for robots. :D

No, they must be stressed like like crazy. They will commit suicide early.

The people sometimes seem to have it all on the surface, but underneath... a lot of times they wish that they were someone else...

w/e... I try to be satisfied with who I am...

Remember no one is perfect, some people just appear to be!

Yes, no one is perfect, but when you get over 98% in all of your AP classes, that's hard to believe.

haha... yup especially a sophomore.... :D

Well, the good thing is that for 11th and 12th grade, she won't be able to take many more AP's because she took them in 9th and 10th. :)

Hopefully she takes electives in her last two years so her GPA can fall. :P

Kid at my school last year:

2390
800
800

not sure what his grades were

captain of 3 sports teams
president of 2 clubs
homecoming king
voted most popular
etc..

Got into Cambridge and went there. Btw, this high school is in America.

Now that makes me jealous.

There was a kid at a high school next to mine that got a perfect score on both his ACT and SAT. He's going to Harvard to study neuroscience or something like that.

My school doesn't really have that kind of kid.. Actually I think it is sometimes a matter of perspective. Some kids see me as extremely smart just because I have some AP classes and whatnot, and am pretty high in the rankings. I am not a genius, I just have ambition :P

Popularity, good looking, athletic and educational ability doesn't grant happiness .

^^Yah! People who go to harvard will probably have happy careers with well paid jobs than someone who went to Kentucky State University lol

I have to admit I am jealous :(

I doubt that happiness depends on career either.

im jealous of the people who get awesome grades but dont study at all. theres a least a couple of those people in every school. especially when you study a lot for a test and they dont but they get a higher grade then you on the test...but i guess thats life

There was a girl like that at my school, school val, MVP of the tennis team as a freshman, really hot boyfriend, everyone liked her....
But then i learned she was suicidal and even tried to commit suicide when i was over at her house because (seriously) her horoscope said that her and her boyfriend would break up. She eventually left my school to go to a more prestigious one.
But people likethat dont really have it all, they just appear to
