I just opened up CC and got the following message in bold at the top:
Hello, patient, it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help solve another member’s problem, or just join a conversation?
I have posted on here faithfully for 3plus years. I have been doing a fair amount of private messaging lately as I have been traveling and very busy at work and at home (it is baseball season, prom time, testing, and dance competition time here 
)
I found that message overbearing and unpleasant. Way to drive people away!!
