Are you ready for college or would you rather stay in high school longer?

Haha well thats good! Yeaa I am… I just want to make sure I fit in with the people on campus. :)

Awesome awesomee.

If you do eventually go. . .you will have fun in ucsb, no lie. :)

hahah i hope i get in then

what are your gpa/sat/extracirrculars stats? (or, you can pm if you choose not to reveal them in public. . .)

I’m applying to ucsb as well. :stuck_out_tongue: no idea how I’ll fit in, being from Memphis and all. Oh well.

@CaliAdVitam I’m from New York so don’t worry I’m just as worried as you are :)

I can’t wait for college. I just don’t feel right in high school. And I don’t really like the people at my school… at all, really.

awww don’t worry i don’t either. Their all so stereotypical you know? I want some diversity… people that are unique… not just the same old

I can’t stand the vast majority of the people at my school…they’re all the same :expressionless: and most shun me for applying so damn far away :)

ahahah me neither and yea everyone asks why i don’t just stay in state
honestly, I just can’t wait to get outv here!

HOLY **** you’re from NY?! AWESOME.

you are in luck. Your stats + fact UCSB is looking to accept more out-of-state students for 2011 = acceptance. I guarantee it. :)

If you get rejected though (that slim .0001% chance). . .then I’ll buy you coffee or something. LOL

ahaha yeaaa :)

and thankss lol I hope your right!

How about this, if I get in I’ll buy you a coffee for being psychic! hahah

Deal.

If you get in, and decide to attend UCSB, FB ME. I WANT MY COFFEE. xD

college
College
COLLEGE
NOW!

Actually no, I’ll be a little bit sad, and will def miss AcaDec :(

ahahaha alrite alrite i will  lol

Hey I applied to UCSB too haha!

I also applied to places out of state, and people give me all kinds of crap so I don’t even mention it.

Typical conversation
Teacher: So where did you apply
Me: Uh, UCs…
Teacher: Oh, anywhere else?
Me: Yeah, you know, some schools, like, USC… Scripps…
Teacher: Anywhere out of state:
Me: Well, you know, a few places…

Also I don’t like to mention schools cuz I don’t like people judging me for them or thinking I’m pretentious.

Anyway though, I really really want to be done with HS but I’m not exactly looking forward to college. I think it’ll be really great once I’m settled in there but I’m awful with change and transitions and not super excited to be a freshman again…

i heard you can wake up a little later in college than for h.s.
looking forward to that.

I’m ready to reinvent myself and get away from this blasted place.

I’ve had the same 43 people as classmates since I was five.

all i can say to that is… yikesss… i feel for ya AUGirl… nd I thought I had it rough.

Even though I really do love my school (and that might just be because I have a couple of amazing teachers who adore me and a close circle of intellectually gifted friends), I’m totally ready for a new experience. And to get away from my parents. Just saying.
