<p>NOCHICKY I completely empathize. I’ve been wanting out of SMU since the school year started back in August and if I don’t get into UT I don’t know what I’ll do. I hate waiting!!</p>

<p>Does the date you submitted your application make a difference? It says they received mine on February 21, which was 9 days before the deadline :/</p>
<p>Someone applying in December for Fall transfer admission will receive, more or less, the same consideration as an applicant who submits their application minutes before the deadline. There may be some with extraordinary qualifications who are auto-admitted but, for the most part, when you apply has little to no bearing on your admission decision.</p>
