Congrats to you all.
Finally the engineering decision comes.

i think they are sending out decisions in gpa’s descending order for cockrell. i haven’t seen any admit on this forum yet with below 3.6 gpa for cockrell. damn i hope i get in, i have a 3.59.

that cant be right because I have a 3.8 gpa

im still waiting

Do you have Cal2 still in progress? I applied EE with a 3.9 and haven’t heard back (I have Cal2 in progress).

yeah I’m in cal2 right now

im thinking that everyone that has been accepted into cockrell has calculus completely done?

they do say that the more calculus you have done the greater priority you’ll get in getting a decision

i think its safe to also assume the better grades you have in calculus the greater priority you’ll get also

i dunno how true that is b/c i’ve completed all (three) calculus that my CC offered with A’s in all of them.

@rall your gpa is lower though.

god damn ur right man…stupid history and govt courses effed me up…do i stand a chance though? my second choice is cola undeclared?

You sound like a girl in my EP2 class. Congrats and I’ll see you tomorrow if it’s you.

Yup, see you tomorrow! I want to know if you guys got in…

just been accepted to engieneering!!! so happy!

Congrats Princess!!! =) What will you major?

petroleum engineering but I think I want to switch and go to math. I want to be an actuary… or a petroleum engineer…I am still thinking about my career. i will be pleased if you guys can help me decide

Well I don’t think I have much influence to help you decide on a career path, but I think this one of those times where you just have to try both at UT and see which you like the most :)

@princesssluv8 congrats.
actuary is a very good job. I believe I read that it is the 2nd best job right now. high pay, low stress and risk.
