ARGH! Emergency~!

Okay, I never signed up for this AP examination, and I got a score report in July saying that I took it and got like a 3. Now, I didn't care because, well, I didn't take the test... Now then! This score was never sent to ANY college, is it too late to cancel now? I am certainly not going to report this on my college application but I hear that if the college discovers that you took the AP exam and didn't report a score, you can get kicked out. is this true? should I call AP right away and get this score cancelled? will that even help!?

ARGH I don't know what to do!! someone please help me!!

the collegeboard is an ******* when it comes to fixing grades.

I cancelled my sat score one time, but the sat administrator at this school lost my cancellation form and i got my score (which was about 500 points below what I got the first time)...and then they wouldn't change it.

So don't get any hopes up.

How on earth did you not pay for the test and the CB still gave you a score? Call AP Services and try to figure out what's going on, since they might actually have confused your identity with someone else, which means there might be problems with your SAT and other scores too. The problem with the AP scores won't affect admissions - I've never heard of any college that requires an AP score report when you apply and you are allowed to selectively report AP scores. Not reporting a score is not a problem - the only issue would be if you falsified a score and then when you sent in a score report (after you decide where to enroll), the score was different.

As Tanman states, you need to call Collegeboard and get things straightened out, but it will not affect your college admissions at all. You don't send official score reports for AP exams until AFTER you are accepted to a college. When you do send that report, you want it to be accurate so that you can get credit if they will give it. So get it fixed but don't lose sleep over it.

Wow that doesnt happen very often. You should talk to collegeboard about it, but i heard they're pretty annoying. in fact, they raised the ap price 2 dollars and then lowered it 1 dollar later. wat a hassle
