@STEM2017 that was a quick response! Congrats! Care to share stats on gpa/scores? My son is also looking at AE from OOS.

Of the in-state colleges, I’m probably leaning toward ASU, but I’m still waiting to hear from out-of-state colleges later in March/April before committing.

How many people who were accepted to Barrett are attending?

I just went to my Barrett orientation today, so I will definitely be attending in the fall.

Congrats on your acceptance to Barrett. Just curious: If you accept Barrett, are you required to live in Barrett housing or can you choose to live in the other dorms for your major? I’m just wondering if all Barrett students will be in Barrett housing or mixed in living with non-Barrett students if they choose to do so.

They highly encourage housing with Barrett, but I believe you can dorm with your school/major instead if you really want to. Just indicate this on the housing application. I did learn this weekend that if you choose to live off-campus your first year, you have to call the dean of Barrett and let them know, but I do not think this applies to people simply living in another dorm.

I am! I applied in February and just now committed. I unfortunately don’t think I can get the Berrests application done in time of the deadline. You can try to apply for Junior year, right?

gpa: 3.6 unweighted
