So I'm currently a senior. My GPA is 2.6. And my ACT score is a 24. I'm also currently taking college classes at my nearest community college. I also have numerous hours of community service. My grades aren't the best. I had two D's in first semester Chemistry and first semester Anatomy. What are my chances of getting in!?

To be perfectly honest, your chance of getting in is severely decreased because of your GPA. I have a GPA of 3.5, yet I also got a 24 on the ACT. That could be something that colleges will look over your GPA. Make sure your admission essay is fabulous! Have a couple people look over it before your submit. My friend had a 2.6 GPA last year and he got into Washington State University which compares to ASU significantly.

ASU has exact requirements for admission.

I don’t know if you are a resident or not, but either way, your ACT score gets you in if you also complete all the course requirements, as you can see here:

On the other hand, you DO need to graduate from HS as well…

Of course I’ll be graduating from high school this year. And I’m applying from California. My GPA should go up before I apply though due to college classes. So it would be around 2.9.
