-i have taken 3 A.P classes in my high school career , in which ive taken 2 A.P tests and passed just one with a 3 and just missed the other with a 2( i am taking two more A.P classes my final year and taking both A.P tests with intentions on passing them.)
-my sat score with writing is 1620(i plan on retaking it in September for a higher score preferably my goal is at least 1750)

etc.
-I am a male
-I'm African American
-I have done volunteer work with children since middle school years

Are you instate.

no i am in california

Since you’d likely be a full freight paying oos student that might help your chances. Can you afford the cost.

i would be appyling for alot of financial aid but the thing is i would be applying for the same amount of it for the california schools, i was thinking about applying too

First - ASU is part of the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE), which means you won’t be paying full out-of-state tuition. You’ll be paying 150% of the instate tuition.

Second - Here are the eligibility requirements for the Downtown Campus (there are other campuses too):
• The WUE program is open to first-time freshmen, new transfer students from four-year institutions and new community college transfer students who have an associate’s degree or 60 transferable hours (Note: ASU’s BAS degree programs are only open to students who have an AAS or equivalent degree). All students must be admitted to the ASU WUE program before enrolling at ASU (see list of programs).
• Students must be a permanent resident of Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington or Wyoming. Home address will be used to determine permanent residence.
• First-time freshmen must have a high school Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) GPA of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale (in competency courses) or have an SAT reasoning score of 1110 (24 ACT) or higher.
• Transfer students must have an overall GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale in all transferable coursework
• Students enrolled in a WUE program receive a tuition rate of 150 percent of Arizona base resident tuition plus all applicable fees.
• WUE freshmen may be eligible for an ASU non-resident merit-based WUE scholarship. ASU will notify qualified admitted freshmen in writing of this award.
• Freshmen in the WUE program are expected to live in an ASU residence hall on the campus where their academic major is housed during their first year.
