<p>The scholarship is only for students who are residents of Arkansas and will attend a college or university in-state (public or private). The Governor's Distinguished Scholarship amounts to a full ride at many schools, including Hendrix College which makes up the difference between the $10K/year scholarship and their $30+K/yr full tuition/room/board/fees.</p>
