I am out of state and looking to see if I could get in-state tuition at this university. Is that what an out of state tuition waiver does? Also does anyone know the requirements for in state tuition at Armstrong Atlantic State University. Thanks in advance for all help.

An OOS waiver drops your tuition from the OOS rate to the in-state rate. Only the registrar at AASU can tell you how to obtain one, but in general you have to show that you’re in the state for a reason other than school (you’re married to a GA residents, you work full-time in GA, etc).

Thanks for the help

If you’re a dependent student (and unless you’re 24 with a self-supporting income, you are), your state residency will depend upon your parents’ domicile - not your own. And if you and your family move to GA, you must be in-state for at least 12 months before enrolling in college to qualify for in-state tuition. An OOS waiver will waive the OOS supplemental cost for one year.

Thanks for the reply but Armstrong has the superior out-of-state tuition waiver which you must apply for.
