Around what number

"Early Decision/ Action Applications Received 3,889
Early Decision/ Action Applications Accepted 902
Early Decision/ Action Acceptance Rate 23.19%"

I know that Harvard doesn't release this type of information, but around what number of acceptees and applicants are Hispanic/Mexican (not Puerto Rican).

Just a general figure.

well harvard is 7% hispanic...so by that i would say 60-65 of the acceptees were hispanic.

What about applicant numbers, do you think?

that is tougher to answer because harvard accepts a higher number of hispanics comparative out of the total # of hispanic applicants than the total # of applicants...

Would you say that a Hispanic applying ED would have A LOT better chance than a Hispanic applying RD?

an average applicant has a lot better chance applying ED over RD

if harvard is your #1 choice and you have the financial means to accept whatever is given to you (if anything at all) i would definitely say that you should apply ED

wow, zoned out there.

harvard is SCEA (single choice early action), so you dont have to enroll if you are accepted because you are allowed to apply to other colleges.

so once again, if harvard is you #1, apply EA

I'd like to apply, but I just don't feel my stats are up to par. I recently got a C in Stats, though I'm confident I'd get a 5... :-</p>

well if its your #1 and you are competative (2000+ sat, top 5-10%, good ecs) then id say to apply.

My school is super competitive and small (like 180 for the class). I think I'm around 35/180, which isn't in the top ten percent. I think hoping and optimistic about breaking 2100 with good ECs, its rank that is killing me (along with a couple of bad grades).

well then come back when you know your gpa and sat after junior year...

I know my GPA, its like 95.231 Weighted

They do release the number of Hispanics accepted:

800 students admitted, 6.6% Latino= 53 students
