ARRGH! Can someone please help me with the online transfer app?

Okay, a couple of problems.

Application Tip: Include your 8-digit U-M ID on your application for faster processing! If you've ever received mail from our office, this 8-digit number is listed right above your name on the address label!

Well, I got advertising mail from them before, but it was thrown away ... should I just supply my social security number or contact them?

Secondly, my main email supposedly already has an account with them, but it shouldn't. Unless my email is being used for advertising/general purposes and is on their mailing list, I have no email in the application database cause I've never attempted to apply to the University of Michigan before, ever, in my life.

I tried to find the password for it, and I couldn't. So I used a new email under the same name ... will my name come up twice in the database?? If it does, will they only see the completed application name?

Thirdly, the new email I provided, I misspelled it. SO, I use it as my login and such, but I can't actually get any emails from UMich, and I can't find the option to change the email ... so do I create a NEW account with the correct email or what..?

Fourthly, under Schools > Institutions,
lets say you did a course at college A
and another college course at college B
but ultimately those 2 courses transferred to college C
do you list every institution attended or just college C?
same with high school ....

Thanks. This is why I hate online applications ...

k on the first page I found the place where you can update your email, do they send some sort of confirmation ?? Or only near the end after submitting the application? And is it only on my computer that the website is very very slow?

You need to be able to get mail from them. period.

And yes, even if every school you ever attended is on your current transcript you HAVE TO SEND IN EVERY TRANSCRIPT even if you only withdrew from the college or took a summer course. They will disgard your app. if they find out, it's a big deal.
