Also, how do i get there? I heard by bus, but do i register for it? What process do i have to take to get the bus?

<p>I don’t think you can stay on campus until check-in time starts. You can stay at the AT&T Conference Center though. It’s very close to campus. I stayed in a Motel 6 a day before my orientation started, but I also did drive to Austin…</p>
<p>As for getting to UT by bus from the airport, I have no idea. Sorry 
But you don’t have to register to get on a bus. They are normal city buses. You just get on, pay, get off at the right stop, and transfer if necessary.
If you don’t mind spending money, then you could always take a taxi.</p>
<p>Taxi cab is a nice and easy solution although it’s going to be expensive from the airport (30 bucks probably meh). I’d do that. Try to find a hotel close enough to UT so that you can take the bus the next day or catch another cab or walk (epic!). The Sheraton isn’t like Motel 6, but its really nice; I’ve stayed there before - that’s all my hotel experience in Austin. </p>
<p>You just need a place to bunk a day before, so I’d stay at a cheap place.
Meh, a clean bed with a door that locks is good enough lol.

i’m flying in from VA and have to stay over the night before. I couldn’t get a flight that could get here early enough.</p>
