Arroyo or Residential halls?

So, its down to the last day to pick freshman housing, and the only two options left are arroyo and residential. could anyone give me some information on which is better or some information on both?

residential is better but it costs more.

In residence halls you meet other freshmen. In AV you pretty much don't.

But AV is half the cost.

UC Irvine Student Housing

ShoeFactory: You are so helpful!

What do you suggest re: Campus Village vs. Arroya Vista?

Thanks!

campus village is not available to freshmen. the reason why arroyo vista is cheaper is because it doesn't include meal plans. just wanted to let you know

Kevinf - thanks. I'm a transfer though, and AV and CV are comparable for pricing, so wondering what you thought of each...

oh i didn't know you were a transfer
