<p>my bad: ag54 - since your kid is going to attend UT, he loses his deposit. Ouch! My son will only withdraw from his housing contract if he decides not to attend. I just checked his big three state schools. UT and A&M are okay; we can get a full refund (well, minus the original $50) as long as we do it before May 1st. Tech has to be notified by April 1st for a full refund. I'll lose $150 if son withdraws application between then and May 1st. That just doesn't give us enough time to be able to make a fully-informed decision. :(</p>
