Art contests/competitions?

<p>Hey everyone!</p>

<p>I've been making art ever since I could remember, but I haven't really utilized my artistic ability. Recently I've become inspired to join competitions- however, I don't know of very many I could participate in. </p>

<p>I just found out about Scholastic Art and Writing Awards today, but the deadline was a long time ago. There's also celebratingart.com which I think I will be participating in. </p>

<p>I'd love to join some bigger competitions as well. Any suggestions are welcome!</p>

<p>Really Scholastic is the big one that everybody knows. Your best bet would be to try entering local competitions…</p>

<p>YoungArts is a really prestigious competition. Only the top 6% portfolios are honored. They have an arts category. :]</p>

<p>No the 2013 season is over. 2014 season starts in March, I think. :]</p>
