Art History MA

Art History honours
GPA: 3.6/4.0
I had some depressing(!) grades in 200-level courses while getting mostly As in 400-level courses.
GRE: I took one recently just to see where I am at, came out to be around 1300.
experience: some internships and working experience from galleries association and government arts funcing agencies
SOP: haven't done it just yet, but will be about the 18-19th century European art
LORs: my school does not rank so high in art history, and only one of the professors have graduated from the "top" art history program.

Which schools should I aim for?
What would be the 'safe' schools and the schools that's worth applying to?

People's been telling me "it-depends-on-your-SOPs/LORs" or
you-never-know predictions but
having some predictions would be greatly appreciated.

My field of study has nothing to do with Art History, but I do find it to be an interesting discipline.

Have you asked these questions to your professors? I'd think that they would be able to give you some fairly accurate answers regarding chances of admission at certain schools. You can also find grad program rankings at phds.org. There is a program at LSU leading to a MA in Art History and my educated guess is that you would be accepted with your GPA and GRE scores.
