Art History Majors all gather!!!

Hello, I just wanted to start a thread where Art History majors can share their information and or help/encourage each other succeed in the application submission process ahead.

I know we are a rare breed and whereas popular majors such as Biology or Econ majors can benefit from a flood of information here and elsewhere we have to fight for every little information. We also are without any companionship. Honestly I do not even know whether you guys actually exist.

Let's just all introduce ourselves and hopefully we can create a system of connection where we can ask questions and share information or just share our passion for art.

I'll start

I am a 23 year old ( I know old) southern California CCC student hoping to transfer to UCB or UCLA. My current stats are as follows:

Overall GPA 3.965
UC Transferable 4.0
Major 4.0
Units Completed: 92 (I was originally a Biology major switched on the third semester)
I havent decided on my area of focus yet but I know I want to go to grad school and get a phD. For extra curricular activities I've been doing ags and some volunteering at a local museum.

If any Art History majors are out there please let yourselves be known. Don't be shy:)

What I’ve noticed about this forum is it’s a hit-and-run forum. Students drop in, ask their question and are never heard from again. I’m pretty sure there’s less than ten regulars in this UC transfer forum, and maybe 5 that post heavily, most of which are already in their UC of choice. What I’m saying is, it’s hard enough to get students in general to hang out in here and talk, let alone students in a specific major. Just my thoughts. I do love your enthusiasm though. Good luck!

@fullload Thanks for the 2 cents. I figured that there might be an increase in traffic cause everyones is scrambling to get more info on the application process but I guess not.

I guess, sadly, there aren’t any art history majors. I’ll go cry myself alone in the corner now.
