Art in UC Berkeley

Hello, can a student who is majoring in a non art-related program (mcb) take classes from the Berkeley art studio? I have always been really reall hoping to take pottery classes, but so far I had only done ceramics for like a semester in highschool. I was wondering there was a student organization or smth.

one more question. Would it be possible for a premed student to minor in art or music without extreme talent?

Thanks.

You should look at the website with regard to the requirements of pursuing an arts-based minor. If this and/or random studio classes aren’t available to you, there may be a DeCal or DeCals that may be art-based. Also, there are a gajillion clubs on campus, which usually take anyone with an interest, and there may be ones that suit your fancy. D is a STEM major and gets her digital arts ya-yas out doing digital production for the marketing club, as an example.
